History
- The journal was launched in 2017 within the npj Series of online-only open access titles, and its first papers were published on 20 March 2017, among them a programmatic essay on precision oncology as the future of personalised cancer medicine by Ann M. Bode and Zigang Dong该刊于 2017 年在(npj Series)在线完全开放获取丛书内创刊,首批论文发表于 2017 年 3 月 20 日,其中(Ann M. Bode)与(Zigang Dong)撰写的纲领性文章把精准肿瘤学称作个体化癌症医学的未来。[1]
- Also appearing in that first tranche was a review of overcoming resistance to targeted therapies in lung cancer written jointly with the journal's present editor-in-chief, and the catalogue of the National Library of Medicine records the Hormel Institute as the corporate body behind the serial同批刊出的还有一篇关于克服肺癌靶向治疗耐药的综述,由该刊现任主编参与撰写;美国国家医学图书馆目录把霍梅尔研究所列为该刊的团体责任者。
- The National Library of Medicine records the serial as published in London by Springer Nature from 2017, with the first issue described as 1:1 of 2017, an electronic-only ISSN of 2397-768X, a starting year of 2017 and entry into PubMed and PubMed Central from volume 1 issue
- Its partner has been recorded as The Hormel Institute of the University of Minnesota, a cancer research institute started in 1942 by Jay C. Hormel and expanded in 2016 by twenty further laboratories, whose laboratories in Austin, Minnesota pursue drug discovery and development alongside cancer prevention该刊的合作方记为明尼苏达大学霍梅尔研究所——由(Jay C. Hormel)于 1942 年创办、2016 年扩建新增 20 个实验室,其在奥斯汀(明尼苏达州)的实验室在癌症预防之外兼及药物发现与开发。
- Articles are numbered continuously within a single annual volume, so that the growth of the journal is measured by article number rather than by issue, and volume 10 of 2026 had already passed article 397 by October文章在同一年度卷内连续编号,因此该刊的扩张以文章号而非期号衡量,2026 年第 10 卷到 10 月已越过第 397 号文章。
- Its impact factor was 8.254 for 2021 and 10.092 for 2022, 8.0 for 2024 and 9.9 for 2025, and by 2026 the publisher had registered more than sixteen hundred articles with the DOI prefix of the series其影响因子 2021 年为 8.254,2022 年为 10.092,2024 年为 8.0,2025 年为 9.9,至 2026 年出版方已在该丛书 DOI 前缀下注册文章逾一千六百篇。
