North South University

North South University, widely known by its initials NSU, is a private research university in Dhaka that was established in 1992 under the Private University Act of Bangladesh.南北大学（North South University，简称 NSU）是孟加拉国达卡的一所私立研究型大学，1992 年依据孟加拉国《私立大学法》创办。

Instruction is organised through four schools covering business and economics, engineering and physical sciences, humanities and social sciences, and health and life sciences.教学按四个学院建制展开，分别是工商与经济学院、工程与物理科学学院、人文与社会科学学院、健康与生命科学学院。

Its Bashundhara campus occupies seven acres with 1,250,000 square feet of floor space and is built to serve as many as 12,000 students.校本部位于达卡巴顺达拉住宅区，占地 7 英亩，建筑面积约 125 万平方英尺，可容纳最多 12000 名学生。

History

• North South University was established in 1992 under the Private University Act, the law that first permitted privately funded universities in Bangladesh.南北大学于 1992 年依据《私立大学法》创办，该法首次允许孟加拉国设立私人出资的大学。

Academics
