Neurotherapeutics
Neurotherapeutics is the official journal of the American Society for Experimental NeuroTherapeutics, published by Elsevier, established in 2004 as NeuroRx and renamed in 2007, and publishing thematic reviews and translational research on the treatment of neurological disorders, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 7.4 and a rank of 21st among 296 clinical neurology journals《神经治疗学》(Neurotherapeutics)是(American Society for Experimental NeuroTherapeutics)的官方期刊,由(Elsevier)出版,2004 年以(NeuroRx)之名创刊并于 2007 年更名,发表神经系统疾病治疗的主题综述与转化研究,2025 年影响因子为 7.4,在 296 种临床神经学期刊中列第 21 位
Scope
- Each issue is built around a single theme in the treatment of neurological disorders, assembled by guest editors who commission the individual reviews
- Translational neuroscience, the bridge from basic discovery to clinical trial, is the intellectual centre of the journal
- Drug development, device-based therapy and trial design are covered as practical problems rather than abstract policy
- Degenerative, neuroimmunological, epileptic, cerebrovascular and neuro-oncological disorders all receive dedicated thematic issues
- Original research has been accepted since 2011, extending the journal beyond review-only content
- Pharmacology of the nervous system, including mechanism of action and pharmacokinetics relevant to brain and nerve targets, is a standing interest
History
- The society founded the journal in 2004 as NeuroRx, self-published as a quarterly of thematically organised critical reviews该学会于 2004 年创办(NeuroRx),自行出版,为按主题组织的季度评论刊物。[1]
- In January 2007 Elsevier took over publication and the title became Neurotherapeutics, because NeuroRx was being mistaken for a newsletter and did not convey the journal's focus2007 年 1 月(Elsevier)接手出版,刊名改为(Neurotherapeutics),原因是(NeuroRx)常被误认为通讯简报,未能传达该刊定位。[2]
- PubMed records for the pre-2007 volumes are searchable under both names, so the journal's archive is continuous despite the change2007 年以前各卷在(PubMed)中可用两个刊名检索,因此尽管更名,刊物存档仍保持连续。
- From 2011 the journal added original research, initially requiring reviewers to rate submissions among the top 10 to 15 percent of their area
- It has since moved between publishing partners, from Elsevier to Springer and back to Elsevier, which now hosts it on ScienceDirect此后该刊在出版伙伴之间几度迁移,从(Elsevier)到(Springer),再回到(Elsevier),现由后者在(ScienceDirect)上承托。
- The overall acceptance rate is about 10 percent, and the impact factor moved from 7.62 in 2021 and 6.088 in 2022 to 6.9 in 2024 and 7.4 in 2025, with hybrid open access priced at 3,900 US dollars整体录用率约 10%,影响因子由 2021 年的 7.62、2022 年的 6.088 变为 2024 年的 6.9 与 2025 年的 7.4,混合开放获取的费用为 3,900 美元。
Editors
- The editor-in-chief is M. Maral Mouradian of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, a neurologist working on translational neuroscience现任主编为(M. Maral Mouradian),任职于新泽西州新布朗斯维克的(Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School),是从事转化神经科学的神经病学家。
- Five associate editors support her, Anne E. Anderson of Baylor, Steven DeKosky of Florida, W. Dalton Dietrich of Miami, William Taylor Kimberly of Harvard and Andrew A. Pieper of Case Western Reserve五位副编辑协助其工作,即(Baylor)的(Anne E. Anderson)、(Florida)的(Steven DeKosky)、(Miami)的(W. Dalton Dietrich)、(Harvard)的(William Taylor Kimberly)与(Case Western Reserve)的(Andrew A. Pieper)。
- The editorial board numbers about fifty, drawn mainly from United States medical schools with members in Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Taiwan编委会约 50 人,主要来自美国医学院,另有澳大利亚、日本、英国、德国、加拿大与台湾的成员。
- Alan I. Faden of the University of Maryland founded the journal and edited it through the NeuroRx years and the rename, before handing over to Mouradian(University of Maryland)的(Alan I. Faden)创办该刊,历经(NeuroRx)时期与更名,之后交棒给(Mouradian)。
- Guest editors assemble each thematic issue and organise peer review themselves, which is why issue-level editorial credits carry unusual weight at this journal客座编辑负责组织每期主题内容并自行安排同行评审,因此在该刊期级署名具有不同寻常的分量。
