National Chengchi University (NCCU) is a public research university in the Wenshan District of Taipei, Taiwan, founded in Nanjing in 1927 as an institution for training officials of the National Government and reopened in Taipei in 1954 as the first national university restored in Taiwan, and it is placed joint 613th in the 2027 QS World University Rankings.国立政治大学（简称 NCCU）是位于台湾台北市文山区的公立研究型大学，1927 年在南京创办，为国家培养政治与管理人才；1954 年在台北复校，是台湾首所在台复校的国立大学，在 2027 年 QS 世界大学排名中并列第 613 位。

History

• The school was established in 1927 in Nanjing, then the capital of China, as the Kuomintang Central School of Party Affairs, a training institution for party cadre of the Nationalist Party.学校于 1927 年在中国当时的首都南京创办，名为中国国民党「中央党务学校」，是培养国民党党务干部的机构。
• In 1929, after the Kuomintang reunified much of China in the Northern Expedition, the school was renamed the Central Political Institute.1929 年，国民党北伐大体统一中国后，学校更名为「中央政治学校」。
