Scope

• The journal disseminates research across all fundamental and applied aspects of science and engineering at the nano scale, with a strong focus on recent advances in nanotechnology and nanomaterials.刊物旨在传播纳米尺度科学与工程各基础与应用层面的研究，尤其关注纳米技术与纳米材料的新近进展。

History

• The title was first published on 20 January 2012, with Volume 1 appearing in the same year.本刊于 2012 年 1 月 20 日首次出版，第 1 卷同年面世。
• The journal grew out of the De Gruyter open access programme in Warsaw, and the Journal Citation Reports lists the publisher as De Gruyter Poland sp. z o.o.本刊源自（De Gruyter）在华沙的开放获取出版体系，《期刊引证报告》记载的出版方为（De Gruyter Poland sp. z o.o.）。
