Nanoscale

Nanoscale is a weekly nanoscience and nanotechnology journal published by the Royal Society of Chemistry in partnership with the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology in Beijing, launched in 2009 and covering experimental and theoretical work across the nanoscale, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2.《纳米尺度》（Nanoscale）由（Royal Society of Chemistry）与北京（National Center for Nanoscience and Technology）合作出版，2009 年创刊，每周出版，刊载纳米尺度范围内的实验与理论研究，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.2。

Scope

• Synthesis and preparation of nanostructures and nanomaterials, from nanoparticles and nanocrystals to nanotubes, nanowires and nanoclusters.纳米结构与纳米材料的合成与制备，涵盖纳米颗粒、纳米晶、纳米管、纳米线与纳米团簇。
• Characterisation of functional nanomaterials and biological assemblies, drawing on advanced microscopy, spectroscopy and scattering methods.功能纳米材料与生物组装体的表征，运用先进显微、光谱与散射方法。
• Physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, together with self-assembly and molecular organisation at the nanoscale.纳米材料的物理与化学性质，以及纳米尺度的自组装与分子组织。
• Complex hybrid nanostructures, nanocomposites and nanodevices, including carbon-based materials and the devices built from them.复杂杂化纳米结构、纳米复合材料与纳米器件，包括碳基材料及以其构建的器件。
• Nanocatalysis, nanophotonics, nanoelectronics, molecular electronics, nanosensors, nanofluidics and nanofabrication.纳米催化、纳米光子学、纳米电子学、分子电子学、纳米传感器、纳米流体与纳米加工。

History

• The journal was launched in October 2009 as a collaborative venture between RSC Publishing and the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology in Beijing, and volume 1 was completed in three issues.本刊于 2009 年 10 月创刊，由（RSC Publishing）与北京（National Center for Nanoscience and Technology）合作创办，第 1 卷共出 3 期。
• Issues later moved to a weekly rhythm, and the print edition closed with volume 8, issue 48 in 2016, leaving an online-only journal.此后刊期加密至每周，纸本版于 2016 年第 8 卷第 48 期后停刊，转为纯在线出版。
• The title anchors the society's nanoscale list, which grew to include Nanoscale Horizons and the open-access Nanoscale Advances.本刊是（Royal Society of Chemistry）纳米系列的核心，该系列此后扩展出（Nanoscale Horizons）与开放获取的（Nanoscale Advances）。
• Publication is hybrid, with subscription content as the norm and an article processing charge available to make individual articles open access.出版模式为混合开放获取，常规内容按订阅发行，作者可支付文章处理费使单篇论文开放获取。

• Chunli Bai, a chemist and former president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, holds the honorary editor-in-chief position.化学家、中国科学院原院长（Chunli Bai）担任名誉主编。
• Dirk Guldi of Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg is editor-in-chief, with research on photoactive nanomaterials and fullerene chemistry.（Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg）的（Dirk Guldi）任主编，研究光活性纳米材料与富勒烯化学。
