Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a public research university in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, administered by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and co-built with the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence and the Jiangsu provincial government, and it is placed in the 721-730 band of the 2027 QS World University Rankings.南京航空航天大学是一所位于中国江苏省南京市的公立研究型大学，隶属工业和信息化部，并由国家国防科技工业局与江苏省人民政府重点共建，在 2027 年 QS 世界大学排名中处于 721-730 区间。

History

• In November 1951 the aviation industry bureau of the Ministry of Heavy Industry ordered the creation of a school-establishment committee at the Nanjing 511 factory to prepare for a new aeronautical school.1951 年 11 月，中央人民政府重工业部航空工业局下令在南京 511 厂成立南京学校建校委员会，着手建校筹备。
