MRS Bulletin is a monthly peer-reviewed journal in advanced materials research, published by Springer Nature in partnership with the Materials Research Society, founded in 1974 as the society's newsletter, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.7.《材料研究学会通报》（MRS Bulletin）是由（Springer Nature）与（Materials Research Society）合作出版的月刊同行评审期刊，1974 年创刊，最初为该学会的通讯，聚焦先进材料研究，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.7。

Scope

History

• The publication began in May 1974 as the mimeographed Materials Research Society Newsletter, and the July 1975 issue was designated Volume 1, Issue 1.本刊 1974 年 5 月以油印的（Materials Research Society Newsletter）起步，1975 年 7 月一期被定为第 1 卷第 1 期。
• It appeared sporadically as a newsletter until 1980, skipped 1981, and returned in 1982 in a magazine format with a regular schedule of six issues a year.此后以通讯形式不定期出版至 1980 年，1981 年停刊一年，1982 年改为杂志形态并恢复规律出版，每年六期。
• The year 1987 brought eight issues and the first monthly theme issue, devoted to ion beam processing, and the journal became a monthly publication in 1990.1987 年出版八期并推出首个月度主题专刊（离子束加工），1990 年起改为月刊。
• For nearly a decade the title was published in partnership with Cambridge University Press, which had launched several MRS journals.此后近十年由（Cambridge University Press）合作出版，期间该社为（MRS）创办了多种期刊。
