History
- The journal was created by the School of Agriculture and Biology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in partnership with Springer Nature, with its website and submission system opened in January 2021 and its first volume released the same year该刊由上海交通大学农业与生物学院与(Springer Nature)合作创建,网站与投稿系统于 2021 年 1 月开通,同年出版第 1 卷。
- Volume 1 opened on 16 June 2021 with article number one, an editorial titled Horticulture in a molecular age written by the two editors-in-chief, which explains why a new journal was needed第 1 卷于 2021 年 6 月 16 日开通,首篇文章编号为 1,是由两位主编撰写的创刊社论(Horticulture in a molecular age),文中阐明创办新刊的必要性。[1]
- That editorial records the pressure behind the launch: only one horticultural plant genome had been sequenced in 2007 while forty-two were sequenced in 2017 alone, and the number of molecular horticulture publications rose from about three thousand in 2002 to about twelve thousand in 2012该社论记录了创刊背后的驱动力:2007 年园艺植物基因组仅完成 1 个,而 2017 年一年就完成 42 个,分子园艺相关论文量则由 2002 年的约 3000 篇增至 2012 年的约 12000 篇。
- It was taken into(Scopus)in March 2023, into the Emerging Sources Citation Index in December 2023 and into the Science Citation Index Expanded in November 2024, and in the same period it was selected for the high-start new journal programme of the national excellence plan for science and technology journals该刊于 2023 年 3 月被(Scopus)收录,2023 年 12 月进入(ESCI),2024 年 11 月被(SCIE)正式收录,同期入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊项目。
- One volume is issued for each calendar year with continuous article numbering, and volume 6 dated December 2026 had carried articles up to number seventy-five该刊按自然年出版一卷并采取连续文章编号,2026 年 12 月的第 6 卷文章编号已排至 75 号。
- Its first Journal Impact Factor of 10.0 for 2023 ranked first of forty-five horticulture titles, the 2024 value of 8.1 ranked second, and the 2025 value of 10.0 returns it to the top of horticulture while also placing it in the first quartile of plant sciences with a five-year impact factor of 14.5该刊首个影响因子为 2023 年的 10.0,在园艺 45 种刊中居首;2024 年为 8.1,排名第二;2025 年以 10.0 重返园艺学科首位,并在植物科学类别同样进入第一四分位,五年影响因子达 14.5。
