Molecular Ecology Resources

Molecular Ecology Resources (commonly abbreviated as Mol. Ecol. Resour.) is a peer-reviewed ecology and evolutionary biology journal published by Wiley, issued bimonthly. It descends from Molecular Ecology Notes, founded in 2001, and adopted its present title in 2008, encouraging the development of broad resources for the molecular ecology community.《分子生态学资源》（Molecular Ecology Resources，常用缩写为 Mol. Scope

The journal's editorial stance treats the resource itself as the contribution, so that a paper's value may lie in the tool, dataset or statistical method it supplies rather than in a new biological finding alone. It describes its aim as facilitating the study of consequential questions in evolution, ecology and conservation, and accordingly stresses the usability and reproducibility of resources. History

• Founding and renaming (2001–2008): the journal descends from Molecular Ecology Notes, founded in 2001, and adopted its present title in 2008.
