Michigan State University (Michigan State or MSU) is a public land-grant research university in East Lansing, Michigan, United States, founded on 12 February 1855 as the Agricultural College of the State of Michigan, the first agriculture college in the country.密歇根州立大学（Michigan State University，简称 MSU）是位于美国密歇根州东兰辛的公立赠地研究型大学，1855 年 2 月 12 日创办时为全美第一所农业学院——密歇根州农业学院。

History

• The Michigan Constitution of 1850 required the state to establish an agricultural school, and on 12 February 1855 Governor Kinsley S.
