Medical Sciences is an open access journal from MDPI covering basic, translational and clinical medicine, launched in 2013 and published monthly since 2026, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.9.《医学科学》（Medical Sciences）是（MDPI）旗下的开放获取期刊，覆盖基础、转化与临床医学，2013 年创刊，2026 年起改为月刊，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.9。

Scope

• The journal is deliberately general in internal medicine and accepts work spanning bench research, translational studies and patient-oriented clinical investigation.本刊在内科学范围内有意保持综合性，接收从实验台研究、转化研究到以患者为对象的临床研究。
• Oncology and cancer-related research is the largest single section and covers tumour biology, diagnostics and treatment outcome studies.肿瘤与肿瘤相关研究是最大的单一专栏，涵盖肿瘤生物学、诊断学与治疗结局研究。

History

• The first issue appeared in 2013, when the journal was published quarterly and carried a much narrower set of topics.创刊号于 2013 年面世，当时为季刊，涵盖的主题范围远比现在狭窄。
• Ten topical sections were established in 2016, giving the title its present sectional architecture, and a translational medicine section followed in 2019.2016 年设立十个专题专栏，奠定了今日的栏目架构，2019 年又增设转化医学专栏。
