Scope

• Contributions are invited on novel achievements in all fields of measurement and instrumentation science and technology期刊征集测量与仪器科学技术所有领域新颖成果的投稿。
• Subjects include measurement and metrology fundamentals, sensors, measurement instruments, measurement and estimation techniques, and measurement data processing and fusion algorithms主题包括测量与计量学基础、传感器、测量仪器、测量与估计技术以及测量数据处理与融合算法。

• The disciplined usage of well-known metrological terms is strongly required, following the International Vocabulary of Metrology and the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement投稿须严格规范地使用计量学术语，遵循国际计量学词汇（VIM）与测量不确定度表示指南（GUM）。
• Papers must describe their measurement context through a critical review of the state of the art in instrumentation and measurement and show how the research advances it, while measurement results that merely validate another study, and image processing or fault diagnosis with little measurement content, fall outside the scope论文须通过批判性综述仪器与测量领域的现状来阐明其测量背景并说明研究如何推进该领域，仅用于验证其他研究的测量结果以及缺乏测量内容的图像处理与故障诊断均不在收录范围之内。
• Papers based on military applications are out of scope, and machine learning and artificial intelligence submissions are desk rejected unless they advance measurement science rather than merely applying an available tool基于军事应用的论文超出范围，机器学习与人工智能投稿若仅套用现成工具而不能推进测量科学，将在初审阶段即被退稿。

History

• The journal was founded in 1983, its first issue of January 1983 carrying a founding foreword by L. Finkelstein该刊创办于 1983 年，1983 年 1 月的创刊号刊有（L. Finkelstein）撰写的创刊前言。 ^[1]
• The first issue also carried a report on the history and activities of the IMEKO technical committee on photon detectors by J. Schanda and Miroslav Jedlicka创刊号还刊有（J. Schanda）与（Miroslav Jedlicka）撰写的（IMEKO）光子探测器技术委员会历史与活动报告。 ^[2]
