• The journal is a multidisciplinary gold open access title that publishes cutting-edge work across the fundamental and applied areas of electronic materials and devices as well as system applications该刊为多学科金色开放获取期刊，刊载电子材料与器件及其系统应用方面的前沿研究，兼顾基础与应用两个层面。

• Materials Today Electronics was launched by Elsevier in 2022 as a member of the Materials Today family of journals, and an interview with its Editor-in-Chief introducing the new title was published in April 2022该刊由（Elsevier）于 2022 年创办，属（Materials Today）期刊系列，其主编介绍新刊的访谈于 2022 年 4 月发布。
• From the outset the journal has been a gold open access title with no subscription model, and it waived the article publishing charge for submissions received before 31 December 2023 that were accepted after peer review该刊自创刊起即为无订阅模式的金色开放获取期刊，并对 2023 年 12 月 31 日前投稿、经评审录用的文章免除文章处理费。
