Scope

History

• The title began in 1976 as Materials Chemistry and ran for seven volumes under that name.本刊前身（Materials Chemistry）于 1976 年创刊，以该刊名共出版 7 卷。
• It was renamed Materials Chemistry and Physics in 1983, and volume numbering continued without a restart, so volume 8 opened the new title in January 1983.1983 年更名为（Materials Chemistry and Physics），卷号延续不重新起算，第 8 卷即新刊名下的首卷，于 1983 年 1 月出版。
• Output is large and organised in volumes rather than numbered issues, with 2026 material spread across volumes 365 to 370 and volume 372 already dated 2027.发文规模较大，按卷而不按编号期次组织，2026 年内容分布在第 365 至 370 卷，第 372 卷已标注 2027 年。
