Mammalian Genome

Mammalian Genome (commonly abbreviated as ''Mamm. Genome.') is a peer-reviewed journal in genetics and genomics published by Springer and the official journal of the International Mammalian Genome Society. Founded in 1991, it recorded a 2025 impact factor of 2.6.Mammalian Genome（常用缩写 Mamm. Genome.）是施普林格出版的遗传学与基因组学同行评审期刊，也是国际哺乳动物基因组学会的官方刊物，1991 年创刊，2025 年影响因子为 2.6。^[1]

Scope

• Disciplinary focus: experimental, theoretical and technical research in the genomics and genetics of mouse, human and other species, with particular emphasis on work bearing on gene function.学科定位： 刊发小鼠、人及其他物种基因组学与遗传学的实验、理论和技术研究，尤以与基因功能研究相关者为重。

History

• 1991: the journal was founded and has been published by Springer in the United States ever since.1991年： 期刊创刊，自创刊起一直由施普林格在美国出版发行。
• Predecessor title: the mouse-focused journal Mouse Genome was merged into this title in 1998, and that journal in turn carried on the Mouse News Letter used before 1990.前身刊物： 面向小鼠研究的 Mouse Genome 在 1998 年并入本刊，而该刊本身又承袭 1990 年以前使用的 Mouse News Letter。
• The merger: the editors announced the merger in a dedicated note opening volume 9 issue 1 of 1998 under a title announcing that the journal was incorporating Mouse Genome.
