Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction（常用缩写 Mach. Learn. Knowl. Extr.，简称 MAKE）是 MDPI 出版的机器学习与知识提取开放获取期刊，2019 年出版首卷，2025 年影响因子为 8.4。Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction (commonly abbreviated as Mach. Learn. Knowl. Extr. and known as MAKE) is an open access journal of machine learning and knowledge extraction published by MDPI. Its inaugural volume appeared in 2019, and the journal carries a 2025 impact factor of 8.4.^[1]

Scope

• 学科定位： 期刊为机器学习与知识提取各领域研究提供高级论坛，发表综述、常规研究论文、通讯、观点与评论，并设主题专号。Scope: the journal provides an advanced forum for studies across all areas of machine learning and knowledge extraction, carrying reviews, regular research papers, communications, perspectives and viewpoints alongside special issues.
• 栏目设计： 期刊按机器学习全流程设七个栏目，从数据预处理到结果可视化覆盖学习与知识发现的完整链路，始终强调隐私、数据保护、安全性与保障。Section design: seven sections track the full machine learning pipeline from data preprocessing to result visualisation, with privacy, data protection, safety and security kept in constant focus.
• 篇幅政策： 期刊不限制论文篇幅，要求提供完整实验细节以保证结果可复现。Length policy: there are no restrictions on paper length, and full experimental details are expected so that results can be reproduced.

History

• 2019年出版首卷： 期刊首卷于 2019 年在创刊主编的主持下推出。First volume in 2019: the inaugural issue was released in 2019 under the journal's founding editor-in-chief.
• 收录沿革： 期刊于 2021 年 4 月被 Web of Science 的 ESCI 数据库收录。Indexing milestone: the journal entered the Emerging Sources Citation Index of Web of Science in April 2021.
