M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (formerly the M. O. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, UKGU) is a public multidisciplinary university in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, founded in 1943 and named after the Kazakh writer Mukhtar Auezov, and it is placed in the 781-790 band of the 2027 QS World University Rankings.南哈萨克斯坦国立大学（原名 M. History
