Liver International

Liver International (commonly abbreviated as Liver Int.) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Wiley on behalf of the International Association for the Study of the Liver, issued monthly. It is among the most widely read titles in European hepatology and publishes original research spanning basic science through to clinical application.《国际肝病学杂志》（Liver International，常用缩写为 Liver Int.）是一份由国际肝脏研究学会（International Association for the Study of the Liver，简称 IASL）主办、威立出版代为出版的同行评审学术期刊，月刊。该刊是欧洲肝病学界影响最广的刊物之一，刊载从基础研究到临床应用的肝科学原创研究。

Scope

The journal's editorial stance covers the whole of hepatology, accepting both mechanistic and clinical work and requiring that questions of liver structure or function be generalisable beyond a single disease model. It describes itself as a forum for clinicians and basic scientists concerned with normal and abnormal liver structure and function and with the constituent cells of the liver. The journal is a hybrid title. The subscription route charges authors nothing, while open access carries an article processing charge. The publisher states an official acceptance rate of 14 per cent for 2025, with medians of 3 days to first decision and 75 days to acceptance, the former including editorial screening. History

• Founding and renaming (1981–2002): the journal was founded in 1981 under the name Liver, and has carried its present title since 2003, which agrees with the library's record of 1981 as the starting point and of the former title.创刊与更名（1981–2002）： 本刊创刊于 1981 年，创刊刊名为《肝脏》（Liver），2003 年起改用现名；库内沿革起点 1981 年与前身刊名记录一致。^[1]
