Kyung Hee University (KHU, Korean: 경희대학교) is a private research university in South Korea, founded in 1949 as Sin Heung Junior College, named for the Sinhŭng Military Academy of 1911-1920, and renamed Kyung Hee University in 1960.庆熙大学（缩写 KHU，韩语：경희대학교）是韩国的一所私立研究型大学，1949 年作为新兴初级中学创立，其名取自 1911 至 1920 年间培养韩国独立运动志士的新兴武官学校，1960 年更名为庆熙大学。

History

• Kyung Hee traces its symbolic origin to the Sinhŭng Military Academy, which trained Korean independence activists between 1911 and 1920 and after which the founding college was named.庆熙的精神源头可追溯到 1911 至 1920 年间培养韩国独立运动者的新兴武官学校，创校学院即以此命名。
