History

• The journal began in 1988 as the Journal of the American Board of Family Practice, with Paul R. Young as its first editor该刊 1988 年以（Journal of the American Board of Family Practice）之名创办，首任主编为 Paul R. Young。
• It adopted its present name, the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, in 20062006 年启用现名（Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine）。
