History

• The journal was established in June 1925 as the quarterly Journal of the American Dietetic Association, its first issue reaching 735 members.该刊 1925 年 6 月以（Journal of the American Dietetic Association）之名创刊，为季刊，首期送达 735 位会员。
• Its first editor-in-chief was Florence H. Smith, who became president of the association in 1926.首任主编为 Florence H. Smith，她于 1926 年出任该学会会长。
• It adopted its current name in January 2012 after the association renamed itself the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.2012 年 1 月，随着学会更名为（Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics），该刊改用现名。
