Journal of Sport and Health Science

Journal of Sport and Health Science is a monthly open access sports science journal founded in May 2012 by Shanghai University of Sport as the first English-language sports academic journal in mainland China, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 13.1（Journal of Sport and Health Science）（《运动与健康科学》）是由上海体育大学于 2012 年 5 月创办的月刊开放获取体育科学期刊，是中国大陆第一本英文版体育学术期刊，2025 年影响因子为 13.1。

Scope

• It reports frontier research in sport and health sciences in an all-round and in-depth manner该刊全方位、深层次报道运动与健康科学领域的前沿研究成果。
• It covers sports medicine, sports injury prevention and clinical rehabilitation其覆盖运动医学、运动损伤预防与临床康复。
• It publishes research on public health promotion, physical activity epidemiology and exercise interventions for chronic diseases该刊发表公共健康促进、身体活动流行病学与慢病运动干预方向的研究。
• It also covers exercise physiology, sport biochemistry and nutrition, and sport biomechanics其亦覆盖运动生理学、运动生物化学与营养，以及运动生物力学。
• It includes exercise psychology, exercise and brain health, and physical education pedagogy该刊包含运动心理学、锻炼与脑健康，以及体育教育训练学。
• It features research on traditional Chinese sports and health preservation该刊突出中国传统体育与健康养生方向的研究。

History

• It was founded in May 2012 by Shanghai University of Sport, formerly Shanghai University of Sport under its former name, as the first English-language sports academic journal in mainland China该刊于 2012 年 5 月由上海体育大学创办，是中国大陆第一本英文版体育学术期刊，创刊时为季刊。
• In January 2014 it became the first sports journal in mainland China indexed in both SCI and SSCI2014 年 1 月，该刊成为中国大陆第一本同时被（SCI）与（SSCI）收录的体育学术期刊。
• It was indexed in Scopus in 2014 and in MEDLINE in 2020该刊于 2014 年被（Scopus）收录，2020 年被（MEDLINE）收录。
• Its Journal Impact Factor was 7.179 in 2021, 10.3 in 2024 and 13.1 in 2025其影响因子 2021 年为 7.179，2024 年为 10.3，2025 年为 13.1。
• It has ranked second among sports science journals in SCI for four consecutive years该刊已连续四年稳居（SCI）体育学期刊世界第二。
• It is published as a diamond open access journal in cooperation with Elsevier该刊是与（Elsevier）合作出版的钻石开放获取期刊。

Editors

• Its editor-in-chief is Peijie Chen of Shanghai University of Sport其主编为陈佩杰，任职于上海体育大学。
• Its international editorial board spans Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania其国际编委会覆盖亚洲、北美洲、欧洲与大洋洲。
• The board was composed of more than twenty well-known professors at its founding and has been renewed for successive terms创刊时编委会由 20 余位知名教授组成，此后按届改选延续。
