History

• The journal was launched in 1994 as the European Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management under founding editor Richard Lamming该刊 1994 年以（European Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management）之名创刊，创始主编为 Richard Lamming。
• It was renamed Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management in 2003, when its ISSN changed to 1478-40922003 年更名为（Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management），刊号同时变更为 1478-4092。
• It has been published by Elsevier throughout its history该刊自创刊至今始终由 Elsevier 出版。
• A special issue each year draws selected papers from the annual conference of the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association每年出版一期特刊，收录国际采购与供应教育研究协会（IPSERA）年会精选论文。
