Scope

• It aims to reduce the incidence of obesity-related metabolic syndrome by improving prevention and treatment该刊旨在通过改善预防与治疗，降低肥胖相关代谢综合征的发病率。

History

• The journal was launched in 1992 under the title Journal of Korean Society for the Study of Obesity该刊于 1992 年以（Journal of Korean Society for the Study of Obesity）为名创刊。
• From 2005 to 2016 it was titled the Korean Journal of Obesity2005 年至 2016 年间，其刊名为（Korean Journal of Obesity）。
• Since 2017, volume 26, it has been titled the Journal of Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome自 2017 年第 26 卷起，其刊名改为（Journal of Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome）。
• It is published quarterly on 30 January, 30 April, 30 July and 30 October该刊为季刊，于每年 1 月 30 日、4 月 30 日、7 月 30 日与 10 月 30 日出版。^[2]
• It is an open access journal under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License with no author fees该刊为开放获取期刊，采用（Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial）许可，不向作者收费。
