Scope

History

• The journal was founded in 1976 by Elsevier, and its first volume appeared in March 1976 under founding editor Harry Lonsdale该刊由（Elsevier）于 1976 年创办，第 1 卷于 1976 年 3 月面世，由创办主编（Harry Lonsdale）主持。^[1]
• Harry Lonsdale served as Editor-in-Chief from 1976 to 1989, and was followed by William Koros and then Andrew Zydney, both now Emeritus Editors（Harry Lonsdale）自 1976 年至 1989 年任主编，其后由（William Koros）与（Andrew Zydney）相继接任，两人现均为荣休编辑。^[2]
• Its first volume carried 22 papers across four issues in fewer than 400 pages其第 1 卷共 4 期、载文 22 篇、篇幅不足 400 页。
• Rong Wang of Nanyang Technological University and Jerry Y. S. Lin of Arizona State University became the fourth Editors-in-Chief in January 2020 and serve as Co-Editors-in-Chief（Nanyang Technological University）的（Rong Wang）与（Arizona State University）的（Jerry Y. S. Lin）于 2020 年 1 月成为第 4 任主编，担任共同主编。
