Scope

• It reports principally the achievements of materials science and engineering from all over the world该刊主要报道世界各地的材料科学与工程研究成果。

History

• It was first published in 1985 and was China's first English-language academic journal in the field of materials science该刊于 1985 年创刊，是中国材料学科的第一本英文学术期刊。
• It is supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology and co-sponsored by three leading Chinese materials bodies该刊由中国科学技术协会主管，并由三家中国顶尖材料机构联合主办。
