Scope

• The journal provides an international medium for theoretical and experimental studies related to processing, properties and performance of materials该刊为材料的加工、性能与服役表现方面的理论与实验研究提供国际发表平台。
• Novel processing methods in scope include additive manufacturing, friction welding, severe plastic deformation and phase transformations收稿范围内的新型加工方法包括增材制造、摩擦焊接、剧烈塑性变形与相变。
• Advanced materials covered include metals, alloys, intermetallics, composites, ceramics, polymers, biomaterials and bioinspired materials涉及的先进材料包括金属、合金、金属间化合物、复合材料、陶瓷、聚合物、生物材料与仿生材料。

History

• The journal was founded in 2012 by the Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association and began with Volume 1, Issue 1 in April and June 2012该刊 2012 年由巴西冶金、材料与矿业协会（ABM）创办，首卷为 2012 年 4 月与 6 月的第 1 卷第 1 期。^[1]
