The Journal of Integrative Medicine (JIM) is a peer-reviewed English-language journal on integrative medicine, sponsored by Shanghai institutions and co-published by Elsevier, continuing a Chinese-language title founded in 2003, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2 and a first-quartile rank of 9th among 48 integrative and complementary medicine journals《结合医学学报》（Journal of Integrative Medicine，JIM）是聚焦结合医学的同行评议英文期刊，由上海的中西医结合机构主办、（Elsevier）联合出版，前身为 2003 年创刊的中文期刊，2025 年影响因子 5.2，在 48 种结合与补充医学期刊中列第 9 位、属第一四分位。

Scope

• Acupuncture and moxibustion, including clinical trials and mechanistic studies of needling and moxa stimulation针灸，包括针刺与艾灸刺激的临床试验及机制研究。
• Traditional Chinese medicine and herbal medicine, from formulae and single herbs to quality control and pharmacology中医药与本草，从复方与单味药延伸至质量控制与药理学。
• Ayurvedic medicine and other traditional medical systems, treated as comparable bodies of practice rather than as curiosities阿育吠陀及其它传统医学体系，被视为可资比较的实践体系而非奇观。
• Homeopathy, chiropractic, nutrition, mind-body medicine, Taichi, Qigong and meditation, together with any other complementary and alternative modality顺势疗法、脊椎推拿、营养、身心医学、太极、气功与冥想，以及其它任何补充替代疗法。
• The integration of those modalities with conventional western medicine, which the journal defines as its central intellectual problem上述疗法与常规西医学的整合，该刊将其界定为核心学术问题。

History

• Its predecessor, the Journal of Chinese Integrative Medicine, was founded in 2003 and published in Chinese, and MEDLINE still indexes the romanised title Zhong Xi Yi Jie He Xue Bao其前身《中西医结合学报》创刊于 2003 年，以中文出版，（MEDLINE）至今仍收录其拼音刊名（Zhong Xi Yi Jie He Xue Bao）。
• In 2013 the journal was relaunched in English as the Journal of Integrative Medicine, continuing the volume numbering at volume 11 rather than starting over2013 年该刊改以英文出版并更名为《结合医学学报》，卷号延续至第 11 卷而非重新起算。
• Co-publication with Elsevier followed the relaunch, and articles now carry the 10.1016/j.joim DOI stem, with print issues bimonthly and full-citable online publication ahead of print改版后与（Elsevier）联合出版，文章使用（10.1016/j.joim）号段的（DOI），纸本双月出版，可引用的全文先于纸本在线发布。
• The impact factor rose from 3.034 in 2021 and 3.951 in 2022 to 4.0 in 2024 and 5.2 in 2025, taking the journal into the first quartile at 9th of 48影响因子由 2021 年的 3.034、2022 年的 3.951 升至 2024 年的 4.0 与 2025 年的 5.2，使该刊进入第一四分位、列第 9 位（共 48 种）。
• It is indexed in MEDLINE and PubMed, Embase, Chemical Abstracts, CAB Abstracts, EBSCO, the Western Pacific Region Index Medicus, the Chinese Science Citation Database and CNKI, and has since been added to the Science Citation Index Expanded该刊被（MEDLINE）与（PubMed）、（Embase）、（Chemical Abstracts）、（CAB Abstracts）、（EBSCO）、西太平洋地区医学索引、中国科学引文数据库与（CNKI）收录，其后又被（Science Citation Index Expanded）收录。

• Guang Ji, president of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, shares the editor-in-chief position and works on integrative medicine and metabolic disease上海中医药大学校长季光同为主编，研究结合医学与代谢性疾病。
• Lixing Lao of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in the United States led the journal as editor-in-chief through its English phase and remains associated with its international editorial network美国弗吉尼亚结合医学大学的劳力行在该刊英文阶段担任主编，至今仍与该刊的国际编辑网络保持联系。
• The editorial office sits at Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Hongkou District, Shanghai编辑部设于上海中医药大学附属岳阳中西医结合医院，位于上海市虹口区。
