Journal of High Energy Physics (commonly abbreviated as J. High Energy Phys.) is a fully open-access monthly journal owned by the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste, Italy and published by Springer Nature. It was founded in July 1997, submission and peer review are handled by the SISSA editorial office, it uses single-blind review, articles are released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, and the 2025 impact factor is 4.9.Journal of High Energy Physics（常用缩写 J. Scope

History
- July 1997: the journal was founded by the International School for Advanced Studies under the then director Daniele Amati. The Argentine physicist Héctor Rubinstein, regarded as the originator of the founding idea, served as the first Scientific Director, editorial work was coordinated by Loriano Bonora, and the journal's motto declares it a journal by scientists for scientists.1997 年 7 月：由国际高等研究院创刊，时任院长 Daniele Amati 主导立项，阿根廷物理学家 Héctor Rubinstein 担任首任科学总监并被视为创刊构想的提出者，编务工作由 Loriano Bonora 协调，刊训是「科学家的刊物，办给科学家看」。*

- 2002 to 2009: IOP Publishing took over electronic publication in January 2002, and from 2003 the journal moved to an institutional subscription model to share the growing costs, while submission and review remained with the SISSA editorial office. - 2014 to present: the journal joined SCOAP3 and became fully open access as of 2014. Authors pay no publication charge, with costs instead shared among consortium members according to an agreed formula. Editors
The editorial structure differs from that of a typical commercial journal: the Scientific Director and Vice Director jointly set scientific policy, an Editorial Board of more than ninety members handles the actual assessment of manuscripts, and an Advisory Board periodically reviews the journal's scientific direction. - How to submit: manuscripts are submitted online through the School's own platform and handled by its editorial office. Authors are required to have posted the paper on a preprint server first, review is single-blind, revisions come in a thirty-day minor and a ninety-day major version, and authors retain copyright.投稿方式：稿件通过该院自建平台在线提交并由编辑部完成评审，要求作者已先在预印本平台公开论文，评审为单盲制，退修分为三十日的小修与九十日的大修两级，作者保留版权。*
