History

• The journal was founded in 2012 by MDPI and released its inaugural issue that December, publishing quarterly at first.该刊 2012 年由（MDPI）创办，当年 12 月出版创刊号，最初为季刊。
• Its founding editor-in-chief was Jane M. Grant-Kels of the University of Connecticut Health Center, Department of Dermatology.首任主编为（University of Connecticut Health Center）皮肤科的 Jane M. Grant-Kels。
