Journal of Clinical Investigation

Journal of Clinical Investigation (commonly abbreviated as ''J. Clin. Investig.') is a peer-reviewed biomedical journal published by the American Society for Clinical Investigation. It was founded in October 1924, concentrates on mechanisms of disease and translational research, and recorded a 2025 impact factor of 14.3.Journal of Clinical Investigation（常用缩写 J. Clin. Scope

• Article types and length: the journal offers research articles, research letters and letters to the editor. Research letters are limited to 1200 words and one display item, and letters to the editor to 850 words, submitted within one month of the issue in which the original article appeared. History

• October 1924: the journal was founded as the flagship title of the Society.
