Journal of Cardiovascular Translational Research (standard abbreviation J. Cardiovasc. Transl. Res.) is a peer-reviewed journal of cardiovascular translational research published by Springer Nature, with print ISSN 1937-5387 and electronic ISSN 1937-5395. Scope

According to the publisher's own description, the journal is a scholarly forum for cardiovascular translational research, aimed at authors who seek the broadest audience for emerging technologies, therapies and diagnostics, pre-clinical research and first-in-man clinical trials. History

• March 2008: the journal was founded in the United States, with volume 1 issue 1 appearing in March 2008 and the print part issued bimonthly from the outset. • 2011: print issues ceased after volume 4 issue 6, after which the journal was issued in electronic form only.
