Journal of Arthropod-Borne Diseases is an English-language journal of medical entomology and vector control published in Tehran by the journals publishing house of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.《节肢动物传播疾病杂志》是德黑兰医科大学期刊出版中心在德黑兰出版的一份医学昆虫学与病媒控制英文期刊。

Scope

• The stated remit is to publish original research papers, short communications and scientific notes, and the journal also receives case reports, letters to the editor and review articles, all written in English.刊物的定位是发表原创研究论文、简短通讯与科学短讯，也接收病例报告、致编辑函与综述文章，全部以英文写成。

History

• The serial began in 2007 with volume 1 number 1 under the title Iranian Journal of Arthropod-Borne Diseases, issued in Tehran by Tehran University of Medical Sciences together with the Iranian Scientific Society of Medical Entomology.该连续出版物于 2007 年以第 1 卷第 1 期创刊，当时刊名为《伊朗节肢动物传播疾病杂志》，由德黑兰医科大学与伊朗医学昆虫学会在德黑兰共同发行。
• That earlier title carried the print ISSN 1735-7179 and stopped at volume 5 number 2 in 2011, and the catalogue record for it lists the same publisher and the same city as the present journal.这一旧刊名的印刷版 ISSN 为 1735-7179，止于 2011 年的第 5 卷第 2 期，其目录记录所列的出版者与出版城市同现刊一致。
• The present title took over the numbering with volume 6 number 1 in June 2012, and the abbreviated title changed at the same moment from Iran J Arthropod Borne Dis to J Arthropod Borne Dis.现刊名于 2012 年 6 月以第 6 卷第 1 期接续卷号，缩略刊名也在同一时点由 Iran J Arthropod Borne Dis 改为 J Arthropod Borne Dis。
• Print issues of the new title stopped after volume 7 number 2 in 2013 and everything published afterwards has appeared online, which is how the National Library of Medicine still describes the frequency as semiannual.现刊名的纸质期刊止于 2013 年的第 7 卷第 2 期，其后各期均在网络上发行，美国国立医学图书馆的目录记录因而仍把出版频率列为半年刊。

• The editor in chief is a professor of medical entomology and vector control in the department of vector biology and control of diseases at the school of public health of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, namely (Hassan Vatandoost).主编是德黑兰医科大学公共卫生学院媒介生物学与疾病控制系的医学昆虫学与病媒控制教授，即（Hassan Vatandoost）。
