Jiangsu University is a public research university in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, China, which is co-constructed by the Jiangsu Provincial Government with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and is classified as a teaching and research university with a distinctive engineering profile.江苏大学是一所位于中国江苏省镇江市的公办研究型大学，由江苏省人民政府与教育部、农业农村部共建，是一所以工科为特色的教学研究型大学。

History

• The founding lineage began in 1902, when the governors Liu Kunyi and Zhang Zhidong established the Sanjiang Normal School in Nanjing, an institution remembered as a pioneer of modern teacher education in China.办学源头始于 1902 年，时任两江总督的刘坤一与张之洞在南京创办三江师范学堂，这所学校被视为中国现代师范教育的开拓者之一。
