Jeonbuk National University, known as JBNU and in Korean as 전북대학교, is a national university in the city of Jeonju in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, and one of the ten Flagship Korean National Universities.国立全北大学（英语：Jeonbuk National University，简称 JBNU，韩语 전북대학교）是韩国全罗北道全州市的一所国立大学，也是韩国十所「旗舰国立大学」之一。

It was founded in 1947 and today comprises 17 colleges and 14 graduate schools, enrolling about 32,000 students and employing some 2,400 full-time and part-time professors.该校创办于 1947 年，现设 17 个学院与 14 个研究生院，在读学生约 32000 人，聘有约 2400 名全职与兼职教授。

History

• Jeonbuk National University traces its origin to 15 October 1947, when the provincial authorities of Jeollabuk-do won approval to establish Iri Agricultural College, which held its opening ceremony on 5 April 1948.国立全北大学的渊源可追溯至 1947 年 10 月 15 日——当时全罗北道当局获准设立裡里农科大学，该校于 1948 年 4 月 5 日举行开校典礼。
