Scope

• The journal publishes original research, reviews and translational studies on cardiovascular biology and disease, including myocardial biology, vascular biology, cardiac electrophysiology, heart failure and ischemic injury该刊刊载心血管生物学与疾病领域的原创研究、综述与转化研究，涉及心肌生物学、血管生物学、心脏电生理、心力衰竭与缺血损伤等方向。

History

• The journal was launched in 2016 by the American College of Cardiology as the third title in the JACC family, complementing the flagship Journal of the American College of Cardiology and JACC Cardiovascular Interventions该刊于 2016 年由美国心脏病学会创办，是 JACC 系列的第三种刊，补充旗舰刊《美国心脏病学会杂志》与《JACC 心血管介入》。
• It was conceived to provide a dedicated venue for basic and translational cardiovascular science as the JACC family expanded beyond clinical cardiology, and its founding editorial board drew members from cardiovascular research centres worldwide该刊定位为在 JACC 系列扩展至临床心脏病学以外之际为心血管基础与转化科学提供专门平台，首届编委来自世界各地心血管研究中心。
