Investigative Radiology

Investigative Radiology (Invest. Radiol.) is a radiology journal published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, part of Wolters Kluwer. Scope

The journal's editorial stance is that a paper must advance imaging method itself: however large the clinical sample, it has to move imaging technique, contrast agents or image interpretation forward at the methodological or mechanistic level. The journal is hybrid and the official article processing charge is not published on the journal site. The publisher publishes neither review speed nor acceptance rate. The journal also issues more than one topical supplement a year.本刊为混合出版，官方文章处理费未在官网公布；出版方未公布审稿时效与录用比例；本刊每年另出一期以上专题特刊。^[1]

History

• Founding (1966): volume 1 appeared in 1966 under the present name, with no predecessor title and no renaming. The founding editor was S. David Rockoff, who in 1990 wrote a first-hand account of the founding and early years in the journal itself.创刊（1966年）： 1966 年出版第 1 卷，创刊即用现名，无前身亦无改名；创始主编为（S. • Frequency: the journal was bimonthly from 1966 to 1984, published nine issues in 1985 and has been monthly with twelve issues a year since 1986.
