History

• Springer launched the journal in 2015 under the SpringerOpen open access programme, sponsored by the German Association of Dental Implantology and the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology, with the first volume appearing in December 2015（Springer）于 2015 年借助（SpringerOpen）开放获取计划创办该刊，由德国牙科种植学会与日本口腔种植学会赞助，首卷于 2015 年 12 月出版。^[1]
• The founding joint Editors-in-Chief were Yoshinobu Maeda of Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry and Hendrik Terheyden of the Red Cross Hospital in Kassel, Germany创刊联合主编为大坂大学研究生院牙科学部的前田芳信与德国卡塞尔红十字医院的（Hendrik Terheyden）。
