International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education is the quarterly, peer-reviewed journal of the International Artificial Intelligence in Education Society, whose volume numbering runs from 1991 and which has carried its present title since the society separated from its parent association in December 1996, edited by Springer until 2025 and published by Elsevier from 1 January 2026, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 10.1 in the Emerging Sources Citation Index《国际教育人工智能》（International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education）是国际教育人工智能学会（IAIED）的季刊同行评审期刊，其卷号自 1991 年起算，现名始于 1996 年 12 月学会脱离母会独立之时，2025 年以前由（Springer）刊行、自 2026 年 1 月 1 日起改由（Elsevier）出版，2025 年在（ESCI）收录口径下的影响因子为 10.1。

Scope

• The journal publishes papers concerned with the application of artificial intelligence to education, and its declared aim is to help the development of principles for the design of computer-based learning systems该刊发表涉及人工智能在教育中应用的论文，其既定目标是推动计算机化学习系统设计原则的发展。
• Its premise is that such principles involve the modelling and representation of relevant aspects of knowledge, whether before implementation or during execution, and therefore require the application of artificial intelligence techniques and concepts其出发点是：这些原则必然涉及对知识相关层面的建模与表征——无论在实现之前还是运行之中——因而必须运用人工智能的技术与概念。

History

• Research now called artificial intelligence in education was reported within artificial intelligence groups and conferences until 1983, when the first explicitly labelled event was held at Exeter under the sponsorship of the British artificial intelligence society AISB如今被称为人工智能教育的研究生长于人工智能课题组与会议之中，直到 1983 年在（Exeter）举办了首个明确冠以此名的活动，并由英国人工智能学会（AISB）赞助。
