International Immunology

International Immunology is the official journal of the Japanese Society for Immunology, published by Oxford University Press, founded in 1989, covering all areas of immunology from basic research to clinical studies, with a 2025 impact factor of 3.4《International Immunology》是日本免疫学会的官方会刊，由牛津大学出版社代出版，1989 年创刊，覆盖从基础研究到临床研究的免疫学全领域，2025 年影响因子为 3.4。

Scope

• It is an online only journal from January 2018 that publishes basic research and clinical studies from all areas of immunology, including research conducted in laboratories throughout the world该刊自 2018 年一月起为纯线上期刊，刊载免疫学全领域的基础研究与临床研究，涵盖世界各地实验室的研究。
• It covers allergy, autoimmunity, chemical and structural immunology, clinical immunology and cytokines and chemokines覆盖过敏、自身免疫、化学与结构免疫学、临床免疫学以及细胞因子与趋化因子。
• It also covers the development of lymphoid organs, immunological methods, infection immunity, innate immunity and inflammation, and lymphocyte and repertoire development亦覆盖淋巴器官发育、免疫学方法、感染免疫、先天免疫与炎症，以及淋巴细胞与受体库发育。
• Further areas are lymphocyte signalling, mucosal immunity, the phylogeny of the immune system, systems immunology, translational immunology, tumour immunity and transplantation其它方向包括淋巴细胞信号、黏膜免疫、免疫系统系统发生、系统免疫学、转化免疫学、肿瘤免疫与移植。
• It accepts Original Research Papers, Short Communications, Invited Reviews and Letters to the Editor-in-Chief together with author replies接收原创研究论文、短通讯、邀稿综述与致主编信，以及作者答复。
• Case reports are not considered, and In This Issue abstracts and special-issue introductions are published without peer review不受理病例报告，本期摘要与专刊导言不计入同行评审。

History

• It was founded in 1989, with volume 1, number 1 published that year, launched by the Japanese Society for Immunology in partnership with Oxford University Press该刊 1989 年创刊，第一卷第一期于当年出版，由日本免疫学会与牛津大学出版社联合创办。^[1]
• It was the first international immunology journal from Japan, and its inaugural Editor-in-Chief was Tomio Tada它是日本首个国际免疫学期刊，首任主编为多田富雄。^[2][3]
• Tadamitsu Kishimoto succeeded as Editor-in-Chief in 2001, and the current Editor-in-Chief is Shizuo Akira岸本忠三于 2001 年接任主编，现任主编为审良静男。
• It has had no name change and has been published by Oxford University Press throughout its history该刊无更名史，自始由牛津大学出版社出版。
• It became an online only journal in January 2018 and now appears monthly with twelve issues a year该刊于 2018 年一月起转为纯线上出版，现为每年十二期的月刊。

• The Editor-in-Chief is Shizuo Akira of The University of Osaka in Japan, whose field is innate immunity and pattern-recognition receptors such as TLRs, RLRs and NLRs现任主编为审良静男，供职于日本大阪大学，研究方向为先天免疫与 TLR、RLR、NLR 等模式识别受体。
• Associate editors include Robert Brink of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Australia, Chen Dong of Tsinghua University in China, Florent Ginhoux and Thirumala-Devi Kanneganti of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the United States副编辑包括澳大利亚加文医学研究所的 Robert Brink、中国清华大学的 Chen Dong、Florent Ginhoux 与美国圣犹达儿童研究医院的 Thirumala-Devi Kanneganti。
