iEnergy

iEnergy is a fully open-access journal of electrical energy and power engineering published by Tsinghua University Press, launched in March 2022 with backing from Tsinghua University's Department of Electrical Engineering and covering generation, delivery, conversion, storage and digitalisation of energy, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.7.《电力能源汇刊（英文）》（iEnergy）由（Tsinghua University Press）出版，2022 年 3 月创刊，（Tsinghua University）电机工程与应用电子技术系提供学术支撑，刊载电能生产、输配、转换、存储与数字化，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.7。

Scope

• Generation covers hydro, fossil, nuclear, wind, solar, hydrogen and fuel cells, bioenergy and other emerging sources.发电侧涵盖水电、化石能源、核电、风电、光伏、氢能与燃料电池、生物质能及其他新兴能源。
• Electric power delivery, energy equipment and power system operation and control are treated as one block.电能输送、能源装备与电力系统运行控制被作为一个板块处理。
• Energy system integration and digital energy systems, including cyber-physical and market co-simulation, are explicit targets.能源系统集成与数字能源系统，包括信息物理耦合与市场联合仿真，均为明确征集方向。
• Conversion topics run from power electronic converters and electric machines to systems for transport, industry and residences.转换方向从电力电子变换器、电机系统延伸至交通、工业与住宅用能系统。
• Energy storage and energy harvesting are covered as technologies in their own right rather than as appendices to grid papers.储能与能量收集作为独立技术方向收录，而非电网论文的附庸。
• Energy economics, policy, strategy and low-carbon energy technologies complete the stated scope.能源经济、政策、战略与低碳能源技术构成宗旨所述范围的其余部分。

History

• The journal was launched in March 2022 as Tsinghua University's first international title in the power and energy field.本刊于 2022 年 3 月创刊，是（Tsinghua University）在电力能源领域的首份国际期刊。
• It is sponsored by the university, published by Tsinghua University Press and academically supported by the Department of Electrical Engineering.期刊由该校主办，（Tsinghua University Press）出版，（Department of Electrical Engineering）提供学术支持。
• IEEE handles overseas distribution, and the journal is served both on IEEE Xplore and on the SciOpen platform.海外发行由（IEEE）负责，期刊同时在（IEEE Xplore）与（SciOpen）平台发布。
• It has appeared quarterly since launch, with volume 1 in 2022 and volume 5 running through 2026.自创刊起即为季刊，2022 年为第 1 卷，2026 年为第 5 卷。
• Web of Science accepted the title into ESCI in December 2024, and the first Journal Impact Factor, 5.1, followed for 2024.2024 年 12 月被（Web of Science）的（ESCI）收录，2024 年度获得首个影响因子 5.1。
• No article processing charge has been levied for 2022 to 2026, and the 2025 Journal Impact Factor is 5.7 against 5.1 a year earlier.2022 至 2026 年不收取文章处理费，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.7，上一年度为 5.1。
• The letter i marks the symbol for current and also stands for intelligent, innovative, internet-linked and integrated energy.刊名中的字母 i 既取电流符号之意，也指智慧、创新、互联网与综合能源。

• Jinliang He, professor at Tsinghua University, is editor-in-chief and works on high-voltage engineering and dielectric materials.（Tsinghua University）教授（Jinliang He）任主编，研究方向为高电压工程与电介质材料。
• Three associate editors-in-chief serve under him: Liming Ding, Ronghai Qu and Goran Strbac.其下有三位副主编，分别为（Liming Ding）、（Ronghai Qu）与（Goran Strbac）。
