History

• The journal began in 1952 as the Transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Quality Control, whose first issue appeared in August 1952.本刊 1952 年以（Transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Quality Control）之名创刊，首期于 1952 年 8 月出版。
• The professional group was renamed the Professional Group on Reliability and Quality Control in 1954, and the transactions took the longer title.该专业组于 1954 年更名为可靠性质量控制专业组，汇刊随之改用较长的名称。
• From 1955 to 1962 the journal appeared as IRE Transactions on Reliability and Quality Control.1955 至 1962 年间，本刊名为（IRE Transactions on Reliability and Quality Control）。
• It took its present title in 1963 with volume R-12, after the IRE merged into the IEEE.1963 年 IRE 并入 IEEE 后，本刊启用现名，当年为第 R-12 卷。
