History

• The journal began in January 1986 as the first periodical of the IEEE Power Electronics Council该刊于 1986 年 1 月创刊，是 IEEE Power Electronics Council 的首份期刊。
• Its founding editor was Thomas A. Lipo, and the council became the IEEE Power Electronics Society in 1988创始主编为 Thomas A. Lipo，该委员会于 1988 年升格为 IEEE Power Electronics Society。
• It was issued bimonthly at first and later moved to monthly publication创刊初期为双月刊，后改为月刊。
• It has been published continuously by the IEEE and now issues twelve numbers a year该刊一直由 IEEE 出版，现每年出版 12 期。
