History

• The journal traces its origins to the Transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Microwave Theory and Techniques, first published in 1953 under William W. Mumford.该刊源自 1953 年创刊的（Transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Microwave Theory and Techniques），首任主编为 William W. Mumford。
• It adopted its present title in 1963, beginning with volume MTT-11.1963 年（第 MTT-11 卷）改为现名。
