The IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics is a monthly peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers since 2005 under the sponsorship of its Industrial Electronics Society, devoted to the theory and the industrial application practice of informatics, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 9.8 and first quartile standing in automation and control systems, computer science interdisciplinary applications and industrial engineering《IEEE 工业信息学汇刊》（IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics）由电气电子工程师学会（IEEE）自 2005 年出版、由其工业电子学会（IES）主办，致力于信息学的理论与工业应用实践，2025 年影响因子为 9.8，在自动化与控制系统、计算机交叉应用与工业工程三个类别均列第一四分位。

Scope

• The scope stated by the society is that of a multidisciplinary journal publishing technical papers that bridge the gap between theory and application practice of informatics in industrial environments, its field of use being the deployment of information in intelligent, distributed and agile industrial automation and control systems学会给出的定位是一份跨学科刊物，刊载弥合信息学在工业环境中理论与实践应用之间鸿沟的技术论文，其使用场域是智能、分布式的敏捷工业自动化与控制系统中的信息运用。

• The society organises the work of the journal into ten technical areas, namely security and safety, fault detection and maintenance, intelligence, monitoring and control, energy and power, networking, software, signal processing, computer vision and vertical applications学会将该刊工作归入十个技术领域，即安全与保障、故障检测与维护、智能、监测与控制、能源与电力、网络、软件、信号处理、计算机视觉与垂直应用。

History

• The journal was founded by IEEE with its first volume and first issue dated February 2005, the opening research papers comparing competing distributed automation architectures, PABADIS and HMS该刊由（IEEE）创办，第 1 卷第 1 期为 2005 年 2 月，开篇研究论文比较了（PABADIS）与（HMS）两种相互竞争的分布式自动化架构。^[1]
• Its editorship began with George A. Fodor of the automation technology unit of ABB in 2005, shared with Okyay Kaynak of Bogazici University from 2005 to 2006, and then passed to Richard Zurawski of the ISA Group for 2007 to 2010其主编始于 2005 年任职于（ABB）自动化技术部门的（George A.
