Scope

History

• The journal began in December 1952 as the transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Electronic Computers, with Werner Buchholz as its first editor and a quarterly schedule.刊物于 1952 年 12 月以（IRE）电子计算机专业组汇刊的形式创刊，首任主编为（Werner Buchholz），当时为季刊。^[1]
• It moved to a bimonthly schedule in January 1962, and after the AIEE and IRE merged into IEEE the title became IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers in August 1963, volume EC-12, number 4.1962 年 1 月改为双月刊；美国电气工程师学会与（IRE）合并为（IEEE）后，1963 年 8 月更名为（IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers），卷号为 EC-12 第 4 期。
