Horticultural Plant Journal

Horticultural Plant Journal is an international open access journal co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and China Agriculture Science and Technology Press, published by KeAi since July 2015 and covering all aspects of horticultural crop science, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 7.1《园艺植物学报》（Horticultural Plant Journal）是由中国园艺学会、中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所与中国农业科学技术出版社共同主办、由（KeAi）自 2015 年 7 月起出版的国际开放获取期刊，涵盖园艺作物科学的各个方面，2025 年影响因子为 7.1。

Scope

• Its scope covers all aspects of horticultural crop sciences, including genetics, genomics and breeding其范围覆盖园艺作物科学的各个方面，包括遗传学、基因组学与育种。
• Cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and biotechnology are also within its remit细胞与分子生物学、生物化学与生物技术也在其刊登范围之内。
• It further covers plant pathology, germplasm resources, physiology and postharvest processing该刊还涵盖植物病理学、种质资源、生理学与采后处理。
• It publishes original research articles, reviews and short communications on horticultural crops such as vegetables, fruits, ornamental plants and tea该刊发表关于蔬菜、果树、观赏植物与茶树等园艺作物的原创研究论文、综述与短通讯。

History

• The journal was founded in July 2015 as the English-language edition of Acta Horticulturae Sinica, the journal of the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, and its first volume carried a welcome to the Second Asian Horticultural Congress 2016该刊于 2015 年 7 月创刊，是中国园艺学会会刊《园艺学报》（Acta Horticulturae Sinica）的英文版，其第 1 卷刊载了致第二届亚洲园艺大会的欢迎辞。^[1]
• It was jointly established by the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and China Agriculture Science and Technology Press该刊由中国园艺学会、中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所与中国农业科学技术出版社共同创办。
• From 2016 the journal worked with Elsevier on publishing and used its platform to reach international readers自 2016 年起，该刊与（Elsevier）合作出版，并借助其平台触达国际读者。
• It was accepted into the Science Citation Index Expanded in March 2019 and has been covered by the Web of Science since then该刊于 2019 年 3 月被（SCIE）收录，此后持续被（Web of Science）覆盖。

• Its editors-in-chief are Youjun Zhang and Xiaowu Wang, both of the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences主编为（Youjun Zhang）与（Xiaowu Wang），两人均任职于中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所。
