Health Data Science

Health Data Science is a gold open-access journal launched in 2021 under the Science Partner Journals program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in affiliation with Peking University, publishing on a continuous basis, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 4.8.《健康数据科学》（Health Data Science）是 2021 年创刊的金色开放获取期刊，由美国科学促进会（AAAS）科学合作期刊（SPJ）项目与北京大学合作推出，连续在线出版，2025 年期刊影响因子为 4.8。

Scope

• The journal publishes scientific advances and thoughtful views generated from collaboration between health professionals and experts in computer science, statistics, informatics, engineering and ethics.刊物发表源自医疗卫生专业人员与计算机科学、统计学、信息学、工程学及伦理学专家协作的科学进展与深思见解。
• Its mission is data for better health, supporting interdisciplinary work that merges practical health scenarios with cutting-edge technical approaches to aid policy-making.办刊宗旨为数促健康，支持把医疗卫生真实场景与前沿技术方法相结合、并助力政策制定的跨学科研究。
• Declared topics include cutting-edge techniques used in healthcare and innovative technology evaluation in healthcare applications.列名主题包括医疗健康前沿技术的应用与医疗卫生场景中的创新技术评估。
• Description and analysis of disease subjects using data and metrics, digital public health, healthcare delivery science and health policy are named areas.以数据与指标描述和分析疾病对象、数字公共卫生、卫生服务科学与卫生政策均列为重点方向。
• Data resource description and research, data management, governance and provenance, and ethics issues in healthcare data utilization round out the scope.数据资源描述与研究、数据管理治理及溯源，以及健康医疗数据利用中的伦理问题亦在范围之内。
• The journal welcomes original research, reviews, perspectives and editorials, and runs special columns on data-informed medicine, communication and debate.刊物接收原创研究、综述、观点与社论，并设数说医学、沟通之桥、纵横说道等特色栏目。

History

• A launch ceremony was held in Beijing on 29 October 2020, with the journal hosted by Peking University and undertaken by its National Institute of Health Data Science.2020 年 10 月 29 日在北京举行创刊仪式，刊物由北京大学主办、北京大学健康医疗大数据国家研究院承办。
• The first article, the founding editorial by editor-in-chief Qimin Zhan, was published on 16 June 2021.首篇文章即主编詹启敏撰写的创刊社论，于 2021 年 6 月 16 日刊出。^[1]
• The journal was selected in 2020 for the High Starting Point New Journal project of the China Science and Technology Journals Excellence Action Plan.刊物 2020 年入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊项目。
• It was admitted to the Directory of Open Access Journals in October 2021 and is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics.2021 年 10 月收入开放获取期刊目录，并为国际出版伦理委员会（COPE）成员。
• Content is published under a CC BY license, Peking University holds an exclusive license to the content, and article processing charges were waived during the founding period.内容以（CC BY）许可发布，北京大学持有内容专属许可，创刊初期免除文章处理费。
• The journal received its first impact factor in the 2025 Journal Citation Reports, entering Q1 of health care sciences and services with a value of 4.8.刊物在 2025 年版期刊引用报告中首次获得影响因子 4.8，位列卫生保健科学与服务学科 Q1。

Editors

• The editor-in-chief is Qimin Zhan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University.主编詹启敏为中国工程院院士、北京大学健康医疗大数据国家研究院院长。
• Deputy editors-in-chief are Hongfang Liu of the Mayo Clinic and Zhang Luxia of Peking University.副主编为梅奥医学中心的（Hongfang Liu）与北京大学的张路霞。
• Yin Daoxin, a former China editor of The BMJ, serves as executive editor, and the editorial office is directed from Peking University.曾任（BMJ）中国编辑的尹道馨任执行编辑，编辑部主任设于北京大学。
• The editorial board gathers 62 experts, including 15 academicians of the Chinese academies and 25 international specialists.编委会汇聚 62 位专家，其中包括 15 位两院院士与 25 位国际专家。
• Review is single anonymized peer review, and submissions are handled through Editorial Manager by the editorial office at Peking University.评审实行单盲同行评审，投稿经（Editorial Manager）系统由设于北京大学的编辑部处理。
• The journal is indexed in ESCI, Scopus, PubMed, DOAJ, Inspec and CABI Global Health, and publishes continuously in annual volumes.刊物被（ESCI）、（Scopus）、（PubMed）、（DOAJ）、（Inspec）与（CABI Global Health）收录，按年度卷连续出版。
