Hasselt University (Dutch: Universiteit Hasselt, UHasselt) is a public research university in the Flemish province of Limburg, Belgium, with its campuses in the city of Hasselt and the adjoining municipality of Diepenbeek.哈瑟尔特大学（荷兰语 Universiteit Hasselt，简称 UHasselt）是比利时弗拉芒大区林堡省的一所公立研究型大学，校区设于哈瑟尔特市与毗邻的迪彭贝克镇。

History

• Hasselt University traces its origin to the Limburgs Universitair Centrum (LUC), which the Belgian legislature established by law in May 1971 to give the province of Limburg a university of its own.哈瑟尔特大学的渊源可上溯至「林堡大学中心」，比利时立法机关于 1971 年 5 月依法设立该校，使林堡省自此拥有自己的大学。
